Michelle's Story
I have had an entrepreneurial spirit since I was a very young girl. I had a paper route of my own when I was the age of 9. I had over 100 papers on my route and my Dad and I did the route together, pulling my little Red Wagon.
When I was 13 years old, I got my first job working at Shakey’s Pizza Parlor. (They are not around anymore and I miss their pizza so much). I was a cook, making all the yummy pizzas. I had so much fun at that job!!
When I turned 16, I got a job in the dietary department of our local mina hospital.
It was the perfect after school job for teens. Hours were 4-7 pm, working the dinner line, clean up then done for the night. Plenty of time left for homework and studies and hanging with friends.
I saved my money from all of my jobs and was able to purchase my very own first car, a Ford Zephyr. I was the bomb dot com! Had my own wheels! Paid for by ME! No one helped!
I grew up in a middle-class family I guess, back in those days. Then my parents got divorced and I learned quickly how the lower-class lived. We were living in the “projects” they called them for low-income families and struggled to make ends meet.
My mom was TERRIBLE with money! Now, when I say TERRIBLE, I mean the WORST EXAMPLE OF HOW TO SPEND YOUR MONEY, TERRIBLE! She did teach me a very valuable lesson……what NOT to do with money! I vowed to myself to NOT ever put me or my own kids in a situation that she had put us kids in.
I was 17 years old and in my senior year of High school, One day, I got a knock on my door. It was an Army recruiter.
She was nice and relatable and she began telling me all the benefits of why I should join the Army. I asked her one simple question, “What’s in it for me?”
Fast forward 33 years……..I retired in December 2020 from the Army as a Master Sergeant (E8), Senior Operations Sergeant in Birmingham, AL with a total of 33 years of service! During my time in the Army I went to school to get my Associates Degree in Paralegal, my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and I have NO student loan debt……THANK YOU UNCLE SAM!!
However, several times DURING my time in the Army I tried to start my own business to make a little bit of extra money to help support my family and maybe have some left over for vacations or savings or both. (I was a single mom for over 6 years)
I tried it ALL! From selling Avon, to Pampered Chef, to Mary Kay (I don’t wear make-up), to Paparazzi Jewelry. Nothing worked! It was hard for me to build a team as the Army kept moving me around every 2 years or so. In Network Marketing, your success is dependent on your Team’s success.
So, I realized that this was NOT the business model for ME!
But, this did not discourage me from chasing my dream of becoming an entrepreneur and being my own boss! I started to scour the internet to learn how to “Make Money Online”. This led me to a company (who shall remain nameless) that promised me financial freedom and they would teach me how to build my own 6 figure online business in no time.
Sadly, I was scammed! To the tune of $25K!!! OUCH!! I took a chance, invested in myself. I KNOW myself and my dedication to work and follow instructions and put into ACTION the things I was learning. However, I STILL had NOT made a single dime online! I was getting really discouraged and frustrated! Not to mention, I was working two jobs now because I was still serving in the Army full time, and then working on my business when I got home each night (sometimes until 1 or 2 am).
Fast forward 2 years, that company was shut down by the FCC and the rest is history. (No, I never did get a refund of my monies invested)
So……I gave up for a few more years trying to learn how to make money online. I was beat! “They” won!! My dream was crushed! Everyone online is trying to scam me out of my money! UGH! ENOUGH!!
Then, one day in 2018, I had just gone through a bad break-up and I needed to find something to occupy my time (and my thoughts). I did it again. Searched the internet for ways to make money from home. This time, I was VERY cautious with WHO I gave my hard-earned money to.
I found a course for only $7 that “claimed” to teach me how to start my own online business in 15 days. So, I figured, what the heck, “It’s only $7”. I got $7 bucks, I can see what this is all about.
WOW! Just WOW! It was EXACTLY what I was looking for! My mindset shifted! My doubts, frustration and confusion shifted too! This was it! This was “the thing” that was going to show me the way to learn how to make money online! AND IT DID!!
I ended up investing another $2500 into their program for additional training that would catapult me into the next level of learning and earning. I devoured the training and started to TAKE ACTION! I was on my way to making my dreams come true!!
However, I did find some holes in the training and some things left for ME to figure out on my own. I am a very resourceful person and not afraid to take chances or learn new systems. (Thanks again, Uncle Sam)
Now, I tell you this story to let you know that yes, there ARE people out there that are dishonest and will just want to take your money, but there are ALSO people and programs out there that genuinely want to help you succeed in business.
I have identified all the missing pieces in the trainings that I have completed and learned so many new things along my journey, and I have compiled them all in one simple course to teach you from start to finish how to set up your OWN online business so you can finally start to see real results with Affiliate Marketing!
I started promoting Legendary Marketer’s 15 day challenge and made over $12k with that company and now I am promoting Jonathan Montoya’s Freedom Breakthrough Academy and I am almost to the $5k mark with his product.
After going live in TikTok on a daily basis for about 3 months, I noticed a lot of people that were going through the 15 day or 3 day challenge were still having trouble trying to figure out how to put all the pieces together. That’s when I found my passion……teaching others!
So, now I help others that are just getting started to start and grow their online business without all the confusion and put all the missing pieces together for them.
I have a FB group of my own, with almost 300 members, where I help aspiring business owners & entrepreneurs start their own online affiliate marketing business without overwhelm and confusion.
My main platform is TikTok, but I have recently started to repurpose and use IG and YT to upload my already created TikTok Videos.
I just came back from Funnel Hacking Live and an in-person mastermind with my Mentor, Doug Boughton in Orlando, FL. I had my epiphany and have much more clarity on my direction forward.
I just invested in myself and signed up for the 2CCX Coaching Program with Clickfunnels where I will be getting personal group coaching on how to grow and scale my business to the 2 Commas. (1 Million) WOO HOO!
